IN MEMORY OF MR. DANIEL STEVENS
July 24, 1942 - November 30, 2008

Mr. Daniel Stevens, Co-Founder of Nia Association, passed away on November 30, 2008. He was an avid supporter of youth excellence as a teacher, mentor, counselor and coach. He dedicated over 35 years to educating countless numbers of youth in the Military and High School. His uncanny ability to make each individual he met feel special is missed by all. His legacy will forever live on.

Nia Association is embarking upon a task in which to commemorate such an individual. Thus, the establishment of the Daniel Stevens Youth Build Scholarship Fund is underway. We invite you to bookmark this page and revisit it as the planning continues to unfold. Once created the Daniel Stevens Youth Build Scholarship Fund will help a number of young people earn the education they want and so deserve.

It is our hope and prayer that our community partners will sow into this endeavor. It, too, is our belief that there is no better way in which to commemorate the works and deeds that Mr. Daniel Stevens stood for and lived.
