Community Participation
We provide weekday services that enable recipients to participate in meaningful and productive activities in the community so that they may develop relationships with friends and family members. We also provide facility based day services through our Activities Center. Support is geared toward training in personal care, development of needed skills and preferred vocational activities. Some of the activities that they engage in are:
- Church Membership and Auxiliaries
- Enrollment at the YMCA
- Bowling
- Visits to the Clarksville Montgomery County Museum
- Special Olympics
- Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army
- Barbecues and Family Reunions
- Disney World and other favorite vacation spots
