Mrs. Tracey Coffey – Executive Director
Ms. Kerr is a native of West Virginia, however, due to her step father being military she relocated and has lived in Tennessee for twenty-eight years. She has been an advocate and mentor for individuals with disabilities since she was 8 years old. To say that she has a passion for helping people doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. She received a BS degree in Special Education and Psychology from Austin Peay State University and has spent the last twenty-six years dedicated to ensuring individuals with disabilities are treated with equality, dignity, and respect. She had the honor of transitioning the first person out of the Clover Bottom Developmental Center into their community home in Middle Tennessee, been a court appointed advocate, served as a volunteer in the Davidson County Mental Health Court, volunteered with Special Olympics, provided consultation to agencies that were in need of improving their Quality Assurance scores, has been and continues to be an unpaid conservator. She has held many leadership positions within the disability community. Currently she is the Executive Director of Nia Association. She has worked alongside Nia since their inception in 1997 as she was the advocate for several of the individuals that transitioned out of the Clover Bottom Developmental Center and into Nia’s services. She joined Nia in April 2015 as a consultant and became the Executive Director as of June 1, 2015. She looks forward to working with the team at Nia to continue the mission of providing top quality services to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Mr. Derrick Stevens – Chief Operations & Finance Officer
Mr. Derrick L. Stevens was born in Fort Campbell, KY, Mr. Stevens moved to various places due to being a military dependent. However, he spent a total of 17 years in Anchorage, Alaska where he attended UAA. Mr. Stevens worked for the Postal System in Anchorage, Alaska for 10 years and resigned to move to Clarksville, TN. He is married with three adult children and two grandchildren; he has worked for Nia Association, in many capacities, since 1999, and currently serves as the Agency’s Chief Operations Officer.

Mrs. Heidi Hubbard – Director of Logistics
Mrs. Heidi Hubbard was born and raised in Washington State. As soon as she turned 18 she enlisted in the US Army and traveled the world as a communications and accounting specialist. She spent over ten years in Germany and 2 years in South Korea. She is a decorated Desert Storm / Desert Shield Combat Veteran. Mrs. Hubbard two wonderful grown children and a husband of over 30 years. She spends her extra time volunteering as a board member of the Special Forces Association and also assists the Kenwood High School Marching Band. In 2000 Mrs. Hubbard came to take on the mission of Nia Association starting as the Office Manager. She has supported the agency with two office building moves and was the project manager for our current office building. Mrs. Hubbard’s mission is to support this agency with the highest of standard while keeping the quality of service at its highest for the Individuals we support. She always tell people that she has been working with Nia for over 15 years and is still not bored to death. Mrs. Hubbard believes God has placed her here to serve and it has always been a pleasure for her to serve the Individuals Nia supports.
