Thank you for your interest in learning about the Nia Business Ministry. Allow me to share some facts with those who are not aware of who we are or what we do. Since the inception of Nia, my husband and I committed to being exceptional Stewards of this fulfilling Faith-Based Ministry, while helping many others achieve some of their goals. Many dedicated family members, friends and staff have worked together to make this organization a success. Below are a few highlights of Nia, which means “Purpose for Living.”

*Executive Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated and focused Regional professionals.

*Top Twenty Employer in Clarksville; employing over 1900 area residents since 1998 from all demographics.

*Support Services include many enabling activities of daily living in the community and in the home.

*Supported over 50 children and adults since 1998.

*Granted American Dream Home Ownership Grant by Federal Home Loan Bank to assist families with down payment and closing costs. A person supported used the funds to buy his home.

*Awarded Housing Urban Development (HUD) 811 Grant for a Multi-Family project.

*Initiated first “Green Housing” dwelling in Tri-County area by using Energy Star Insulated Foam Structure (IFS) products.

*A Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Partner that offers three housing units with 30% income rent limits.

*A Medicaid Ameri-Group Insurance Partner.

*A Fort Campbell Off-Post Housing Partner.

*An Employee Assistance Program Partner to promote corporate and personal lifestyle balance.

*Internship Partner for Tennessee and Kentucky Universities and High School Health Care Academy students.

Memberships include: Chamber of Commerce, American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities; Center for Non-Profit Management; Exceptional Family Member Program; Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education; Special Olympics; Better Business Bureau; Homeless Coalition; Armed Uniformed Services Association; Veterans Coalition; Not Alone, Wounded Warrior Project; Disabled Combat Veterans.

We are making a difference in the lives of many area residents by enabling those who have disabilities, by creating jobs, by helping families with housing and by providing Respite when needed. Please stop by and visit for more information.
