ANNOUNCING
NIA'S SHOOTING STARS PROGRAM

The Shooting Stars Program is a mentoring program, where adolescent females between 11-13 years old can explore careers, participate in conflict resolution training, build positive self esteem and confidence and move toward a concentration on informed decision-making. Last, but not least, they will build healthy and lasting relationships with women in the workforce. The program is absolutely free and will run on a bi-annual basis (the program is six weeks in duration). The first six-week program will begin soon (subsequent session will be announced). The sessions will run on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The Launch:With the support of the Predators Foundation, Nia Association is inviting you to be part of our launch.  We will select up to 15 adolescent females for this project in the greater Montgomery County area.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for your daughter, your niece, her friend, your granddaughter, her best friend and her classmate. We believe that there is no adolescent female who cannot benefit from this experience. It is our belief that the adolescent female of today is the mover and shaker of tomorrow.
