Training and Support
We see to it that all staff receive continuous training to provide general health, safety and welfare to our recipients.
DMRS, our state licensing entity, has standardized training requirements that afford us with the necessary knowledge, values and skills that attest to the quality of services delivered.
Nia Association has also established additional training mandates for all Associates. Some of them are:
- CPR
- First Aid
- Abuse
- Into to MR/DD (Mental Retardation/Development Disabilities)
- Protection from harm
- Universal Precautions
- Medication admin. classes
- Sensitivity/Ethics
